Hager and Imbach have been working together since 1993

What began 33 years ago with a strategic decision has evolved into a lasting partnership. Hager Switzerland and Imbach Logistik AG are celebrating more than three decades of successful collaboration.

Hager and Imbach have been working together since ...

In 1993, the then-WEBER AG decided to cease operating its transportation logistics business in Switzerland on its own. In Imbach, the company found a partner that was well-suited to this task thanks to its high level of expertise, reliability, and business acumen. One of the conditions was to retain the existing drivers. This decision demonstrated a sense of responsibility toward the employees and also made good business sense. The result was a partnership that continues to this day and has grown steadily over the years.

Growing Together

With the Hager Group’s acquisition of WEBER AG in 2004, the collaboration was further expanded. The portfolio grew, and new locations and additional logistics requirements were added. Imbach reliably supported this transformation and played a key role in successfully connecting the locations with the markets.

Another milestone followed in 2008 with the acquisition of Imbach, which has since become a wholly owned subsidiary of Galliker Transport AG. This step also included the transfer of management from Walter Imbach to Christian Kempter-Imbach. Even in this new configuration, the partnership remained as strong as ever and continued to develop successfully.

United by Shared Values

What makes the collaboration between Hager and Imbach special goes far beyond the provision of logistics services. Both companies remain independent family-owned businesses to this day and share the same core values: entrepreneurial foresight, a spirit of innovation, and a sense of responsibility toward the environment and society.

Sustainability is firmly anchored in both companies’ corporate strategies. Under the guiding principle of “Green Logistics,” Imbach and the Galliker have been firmly committed to innovative and sustainable transport solutions for years and are now among the pioneers in environmentally friendly logistics.

The Hager Group, too, has been pursuing ambitious sustainability goals for many years. From the development of energy-efficient products to sustainable production processes and the operation of its own infrastructure, environmental responsibility is at the heart of everything it does. With its EcoVadis Platinum rating, the Hager Group ranks among the world’s leading companies in the field of sustainability.

A Reason to Give Thanks

33 years of successful collaboration are anything but a given. They are the result of mutual trust, reliability, openness, and a shared commitment to overcoming challenges as partners.

Hager and Imbach honored this special bond with a joint celebration. Together, they looked back on the most important milestones of the past three decades, shared memories, and traced their shared journey. At the same time, the event provided an opportunity to focus on future challenges and opportunities.

The event made it clear that the collaboration between Hager and Imbach is far more than a traditional customer-supplier relationship. It is based on shared values, mutual trust, and the commitment to long-term success and sustainability.

We would like to thank all employees who have shaped this partnership over more than three decades and who contribute every day to continuing this success story.
